Phone Carrier Filter

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 December 2025

Introduction & Scope

Welcome to PhoneCarrierFilter. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when using our service. Our app accepts CSV files containing phone numbers so you can split them into T-Mobile and non-T-Mobile lists and download the resulting CSVs for campaign use. This policy applies to information collected by the PhoneCarrierFilter website and services.

Quick summary

Information We Collect

From your uploads

You may upload CSV files that contain phone numbers and any columns you include. Those uploaded files are used only to perform the requested carrier-splitting operation (T-Mobile vs non-T-Mobile) and to prepare downloadable results. We do not persistently store the uploaded CSVs or the derived output files on our servers beyond the short-lived processing period required to perform the operation and allow you to download the results.

Authentication & account information

To access the app we enforce Google sign-in via Firebase to reduce abuse. The only authentication information we receive and retain for account management are:

We do not request, collect, or store additional personal identifiers (PID) from the authentication process such as phone numbers, postal addresses, government IDs, or payment information.

Usage telemetry

We collect minimal, aggregate usage telemetry for product improvement and monitoring. This telemetry is collected through Google Analytics and does not include uploaded phone numbers or other sensitive data extracted from your CSVs.

How We Use Information

Data Storage, Processing & Retention

We follow these principles for uploads and derived data:

If you require explicit confirmation that your data has been removed, you may request removal — see the "Your Rights" section below.

Logging & Monitoring

We log operational events required to run and monitor our service (e.g., server health checks, error codes, timestamps). These operational logs do not contain uploaded phone numbers or user personal identifiers. If diagnostics require additional information to investigate a specific support issue, we will request explicit permission before collecting it.

Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of third-party services to authenticate users and collect aggregate analytics:

These third parties have their own privacy policies and controls; we encourage you to review them. We only share the minimum information required for these services to operate (for example, we do not send uploaded phone numbers to Google Analytics or Firebase).

Cookies & Local Storage

We use cookies and browser local storage for the following limited purposes:

We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising purposes. You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect session persistence and convenience features.

Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect data while it is in our care. Security measures include encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit and standard hardening for our servers. Because uploads are not persistently stored, the primary risk surface is the brief processing window; we mitigate this with strict access controls and transient storage deletion policies.

No system is perfectly secure. If you become aware of a security issue affecting your account or data, please contact us immediately at the address below.

Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child under the applicable age has created an account or uploaded data, please contact us so we can remove it.

Your Rights & Choices

You have the following rights regarding personal data stored in or associated with your account:

To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We will require proof of identity before making account changes to protect against unauthorized requests.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email where feasible.

Legal & Compliance

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PhoneCarrierFilter, our users, or the public.

No Warranty & Limitation

This Privacy Policy describes our practices and commitments. It is not a contract and does not create legal rights beyond applicable law. For certainty about legal obligations, please seek professional advice.
