1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PhoneCarrierFilter (the "Service"), operated by PhoneCarrierFilter ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Scope of Service

PhoneCarrierFilter provides a web-based tool that accepts user-uploaded CSV files containing phone numbers and attempts to classify each number as T-Mobile or non-T-Mobile for campaign planning. The Service splits the uploaded CSV into separate downloadable CSV files for the classifications requested by the user.

3. Account & Authentication

• Access to the Service requires Google sign-in via Firebase Authentication. This measure is enforced to reduce abuse and to provide basic account management.
• We only obtain and retain basic authentication/profile information supplied by Firebase (such as your display name, email, and a unique authentication identifier). We do not request or store additional PID (personal identifiers) through authentication, such as phone numbers or payment details.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity performed through your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Permitted Use

You may use the Service to upload CSVs containing phone numbers that you own or for which you have lawful permission to process for campaign purposes. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations (including, where applicable, privacy, data protection, telemarketing and anti-spam laws) when using the Service and when contacting or handling the phone numbers processed.

5. Prohibited Use

Without limiting other remedies, you may not use the Service to:

• Upload phone numbers you do not have permission to process or that were obtained unlawfully;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, reproduce or circumvent the Service’s security or controls;
• Use the Service to send unsolicited spam or to facilitate abuse, harassment, fraud, or other illegal activities;
• Attempt to access or interfere with other users' data or accounts;
• Upload files that contain malware or content that violates any law or third-party right.

6. Data Handling, Storage & Logging

• No persistent storage of uploads: Uploaded CSV files and derived outputs are processed transiently and are not persistently stored on our servers beyond the short period necessary to produce the downloadable results and enable an orderly download experience.
• No logging of uploaded data: We do not write uploaded phone numbers or columns from your CSV files into server logs or persistent log files.
• Temporary download cache: To enable downloads and session continuity we may temporarily cache generated results for a limited period. Such temporary files are removed automatically after the download window or when the session terminates.
• Analytics & Telemetry: We use Google Analytics for aggregate, anonymized telemetry. We do not transmit uploaded phone numbers or other sensitive contents of your CSV to Google Analytics.

7. How the Filtering Works & Limitations

The Service classifies numbers using pattern matching (regular expressions), formatting rules, and other number pattern heuristics. This method has the following important limitations:

• Regex & pattern based: Classification relies on predefined regex patterns and numbering rules. These heuristics are not perfect and may produce false positives or false negatives.
• Number porting: If a number has been ported (transferred from one carrier to another), our Service may not correctly reflect the number's current carrier. Ported numbers are a known source of misclassification and should be validated by the user with authoritative carrier lookup services if carrier accuracy is critical.
• No guarantee of accuracy: We provide no warranty that any classification result is correct or suitable for any particular purpose. You should treat our results as advisory and perform independent verification when accuracy matters (for compliance, regulatory, or business-critical decisions).

8. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the contents of any CSV you upload, including ensuring you have the right to process those numbers and that your use complies with applicable laws.
• You must verify results before using them in campaigns, especially with regulated communications or where misclassification could cause legal or reputational harm.
• You must not attempt to extract, export, or otherwise collect data from the Service beyond the provided download functionality.

9. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including software, user interface, designs, and documentation, are owned by PhoneCarrierFilter or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service as permitted by these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service or included software.

10. Fees & Payment

If any part of the Service is offered for a fee, the terms describing fees, billing, and refunds will be presented at the point of purchase. Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable. We reserve the right to change pricing or introduce charges for previously free features with reasonable notice.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PHONECARRIERFILTER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of classification results. You acknowledge that ported numbers and other real-world changes can lead to misclassification.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL PHONECARRIERFILTER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR DIRECT DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR TWELVE (12) MONTHS, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD 100), IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PhoneCarrierFilter and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your breach of any law or third-party right.

14. Termination & Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including suspected misuse, breach of these Terms, or legal compliance. Upon termination we will deactivate your account and may delete account-related data in accordance with our Data Retention and Privacy Policy.

15. Modifications to the Service and Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part) at any time. We may also modify these Terms. If we make material changes to the Terms, we will post the revised Terms with an updated "Last updated" date and, where practicable. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which PhoneCarrierFilter is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising under or relating to these Terms will be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction, and you submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts, unless otherwise required by mandatory local law.

17. Export & Compliance

You will comply with all export control and economic sanctions laws and regulations that apply to the transmission of data to or from any country.

18. Third-Party Links & Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (for example, Google/Firebase and Google Analytics). We are not responsible for the practices or content of third parties. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms and privacy policies.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by us, constitute the entire agreement between you and PhoneCarrierFilter regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
